Its incredibly useful for me when. My workflow has me hotkeying enabling/disabling Symmetry mode, as a whole, on the fly. I used piskel and it has a tool that mirrors what youre drawing on the other axis while youre drawing. While this was expected behavior for me since most every other tool mirrors perfectly, I can absolutely see it not being expected behavior for other users and being undesired. Onion Skin mode is included to speed up the animation process and to allow for tagging the. dacap added this to the v1.1 milestone on Nov 24, 2015. that one-pixel disparity (affects the vertical symmetry mode too): dacap added the bug label on Nov 24, 2015. I definitely think it should be toggleable, though. There are three playback modes: forward, reverse, and ping-pong. when you make a selection on one side of an axis and then move it relative to the axis the mirror selection moves in the same, not opposite direction. Having Vertical Symmetry enabled (and Horizontal disabled) would invert vertical translations, preserving horizontal ones. Got back from break and I knew some of you were itching for the next video, so here it is If you haven't already, it would mean the world to me if you left. Obviously translating Up or Down with only Horizontal Symmetry enabled would still move both selections in the same direction. So if you made a selection on the Left side, and pressed the "Right Arrow" key, the selections would move inward toward one another as opposed to both translating to the Right. Like with Horizontal symmetry mode, it would reference the side of the symmetry line you made the selection on and invert left/right translations for the mirrored side. A timeline where you can copy/move layers, frames, or specific images, Animation. Compose sprites using layers & frames as separated concepts, Create images in RGBA or Indexed color modes, Open/Save GIF animations, sequence of PNG files, etc. I would be surprised if this wasn't suggested at some point, but it would be a useful feature if you could toggle mirrored translations of marquee selections in individual symmetry modes.
